Smartphone Battle-Which mobile is best in market

Latest Mobiles

If you are in the market for a new mobile then you will be confronted with a world of choice that can be a little overwhelming if you do not have a little direction and guidance. To help you on your way here is an overview of the latest mobiles to launch.

HTC Desire HD

The Desire HD brings with it all of the latest technology that Taiwanese manufacturer HTC has to offer. This includes a class-leading 4.3 inch high resolution touchscreen display, version 2.2 of the Android operating system and an eight megapixel camera. You can shoot high definition video at a 720p resolution and also expand the basic onboard storage up to 32GB if you buy a microSD memory card. This is a large phone because of its screen and hardware, but it runs very smoothly thanks to the 1GHz processor and 768MB of RAM.

Nokia N8

This is a return to form for Nokia at a time when it was in need of a success. The N8 is a thoroughly modern smartphone with a 3.5 inch OLED display that bursts with colour. A 12 megapixel camera with HD video recording capabilities is all part of this package and it is housed in a sleek metal chassis which is available in a number of different colours to appeal to a wide audience. The brand new Symbian 3 operating system is onboard the N8, bringing with it social networking integration, advanced messaging and excellent web browsing.

BlackBerry Torch

This is a unique mobile in the BlackBerry range because it is the first to use a slider design so that its touchscreen interface can be supplemented by the traditional QWERTY keyboard for which most BlackBerry handsets have become known. You will have all of the expert email and instant messaging features that have made previous BlackBerry handsets so popular amongst enterprise users and you also get a fresh new interface that is suitable for finger-friendly interactivity. Add to this excellent media playback, a revamped web browser and GPS for navigation and you have a well-rounded package.

Samsung Galaxy S3

While Samsung has not blessed the Galaxy S with the same level of premium quality materials as its immediate rivals, in terms of technical specifications there is no better equipped smartphone on the market. It has a four inch Super AMOLED display which is far better than many other mobiles when being used in bright daylight conditions. It also has a 1GHz processor and Android 2.1 onboard with Samsung`s TouchWiz interface sitting on the surface to give you attractive, customisable homescreens and menus. 8 or 16GB of onboard storage is built into the Galaxy S, along with the option to add more via microSD memory card and a five megapixel camera with HD capabilities is present on the rear to keep it in the same league as its closest competition. HTC was the previous king of the Android platform, but with the Galaxy S, which looks quite a lot like an iPhone 3G S, the South Korean manufacturer could have come out on top.
